QC Industries Introduces Online Conveyor Configuration Tool

Article-QC Industries Introduces Online Conveyor Configuration Tool

QC Industries has released a new online tool for quoting and configuring low profile conveyors. The system allows customers to configure complete conveyor systems through an easy-to-use online interface.

The QC Industries Conveyor Configurator allows end users to customize conveyor details — ranging from width and length to motor sizing — with the help of an intelligent assistant. Selections are guided by answering a series of questions to determine the right conveyor for the customer’s application.

Complete systems, including drives, mounts, guide rails, accessories, and stands, can be configured with just a few clicks. Each selection is checked for compatibility to ensure proper fit and sizing. The checks follow a series of engineer-developed algorithms that check each component and suggest corrections when necessary.

Multiple conveyors of different types and sizes can easily be configured on the same quote and then sent to the customer’s local distributor to be quoted, eliminating time-consuming phone calls and potential mistakes due to misunderstandings.

The interface is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to allow customers to request detailed quotes in a way that fits their schedules.
Quotes are usually returned within one business day.

Once a conveyor has been configured, customers can download all the associated drawings, CAD models, and specifications in one convenient package, allowing them to integrate it quickly into their designs.

QC Industries' Conveyor Configurator is available at http://qcconfig.com.
