Conveyor with Perforated Belt Option
Designed for light- to medium-duty applications, the 2200-series conveyor comes with a perforated bedplate to better accommodate cooling and draining applications. Holes in the bedplate allow air to flow naturally through the frame and bedplate of the conveyor, cooling passing product. The conveyor can also be hooked up to a vacuum to supply additional air through the bedplate. Another useful feature of the bedplate is that when liquid is sprayed on passing items or when items are damp from a previous process, the holes allow moisture to properly drip through the modular plastic belt and bedplate without collecting inside the frame. The perforated bedplate option is available on 2200-series conveyors with a width of 12 in. or more.

Conveyor Skirting System
The Flex-Seal skirting system is designed to fully seal the loading zone, preventing spillage leaks, controlling dust emissions, and guarding against costly belt damage and mistracking. The system’s angle plate positions the skirt rubber to the belt so the internal spring-back tension in the rubber creates the seal without damage. The low contact pressure on the belt prevents belt grooving or excessive cover wear to prolong belt life. Available in 4-ft lengths, the skirt can be used to create systems to meet specific customer needs. The system is easy to install and maintain. Each module includes two clamp pins, two clamp plates, and a clamp bar and comes with simple step-by-step installation instructions. For maximum flexibility and safety, installation and maintenance tasks can be accomplished from the sides of the conveyor.

Sanitary Feeder-Conveyor
Booth 1005 – A combination feeder-conveyor for free-flowing and non-free-flowing bulk dairy products, pharmaceutical products, and other contamination-sensitive materials meets 3-A sanitary standards. A coupling positioned beyond the point at which material exits the discharge spout eliminates the potential of contamination. It also allows quick disconnection of the screw from the motor drive during washdown. The screw is the only moving part that contacts material. The unit simultaneously meters and elevates bulk materials, potentially eliminating the need for a separate feeder and conveyor while reducing the clearance typically required above the receiving vessel for a dedicated feeder. Mobile and high-capacity units are available.
