KWS Hires Collins as Vice President

Bill Mecke, co-owner of KWS, one of the largest screw conveyor manufacturers in North America, has announced that Jim Collins has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing. In this position, Collins will work with clients and staff to facilitate future growth opportunities.

Collins brings 25 years of industry experience to KWS, including 15 years with Emerson Electric and 10 years with Dodge/Reliance Electric. During the past 10 years, he was vice president of sales for the U.S. and Canada for Emerson’s Power Transmission Solutions division. Collins earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Clemson University.

“Jim’s impressive reputation in sales and marketing makes him an ideal leader for KWS,” said Mecke. “His many years of customer interaction in the same industries that KWS serves, positions him to immediately engage with KWS’ sales, distribution, and operating organizations.
