KWS Engineer Receives Professional Engineering License

Jimmy Dufinetz, P.E. of KWS Manufacturing Co., has received his professional engineer license for the state of Texas.

This accomplishment is the culmination of Dufinetz’s hard work and desire for continual improvement. In order to receive a professional license in engineering one must complete a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited university, pass an eight-hour engineering exam and work for at least four years as an engineer prior to passing another eight-hour engineering exam.

Dufinetz is manager of environmental sales for KWS. He has more than 12 years of experience as an engineer of bulk and unit material handling equipment. Dufinetz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.

KWS Manufacturing Co. is one of the largest screw conveyor manufacturers in North America and has experienced greater than 500 percent growth in revenue over the last 10 years. KWS also provides process equipment, such as thermal processors, continuous and batch mixers, and classifiers. Many projects include complete system design with hoppers, structural supports, and controls as part of an engineered solution.
