Hapman, a manufacturer of comprehensive bulk material handling equipment, now offers an expanded Quick Ship program for its line of Helix flexible screw conveyors.

“Bulk material handling processors often need to react quickly to changes in raw material blend, supply, or end product composite,” said Floyd Phalen, manager of Hapman engineering design. “Therefore, their conveying needs change and they have a small window to implement the necessary process modifications on the production floor. Hapman has responded to this dynamic by expanding our line of available equipment on our quick ship program.”

Hapman now offers a quick ship for both the 3-in. model 300 and 4-in. model 400 Helix with a stainless steel hopper, discharge, and auger. The Helix model 300 is also available in the program with a UHMW polyethylene food-grade hopper and discharge. Both Helix model 300 and 400 are designed for reliable, yet simple and low-cost conveying needs.

Additional options available for the Helix flexible screw conveyors are hopper-mounted vibrators to aid in material flow and NEMA 4 fixed-speed controls with automatic start/stop function.
