HammerTek Corp. Unveils Online Video Library

Process equipment manufacturer HammerTek Corp., Landisville, Pennsylvania, has unveiled an online video library on its Web site at www.HammerTek.com that showcases the company’s Smart Elbow in both live action and 3-D animation.

The online video library offers demonstrations revealing how the unique shape and configuration of the pneumatic conveying elbow causes particles to gather in a slowly-rotating, self-renewing, round deflection zone of material and air before proceeding downstream. The result, as shown in the videos, is reduced elbow wear for savings in maintenance and corresponding cuts in line downtime along with improvements in particle integrity and environmental hygiene.

Featuring a series of case study videos filmed at actual processing line installations, the online video library documents the performance of Smart Elbows in effectively diverting the flow of highly abrasive materials without experiencing a single blowout, even after five years of continuous operation. The Smart Elbows are shown conveying fiberglass-filled polypropylene pellets, PVC compound, granite dust, pebble lime, magnesium oxide, grain, and other materials that would quickly wear through steel sweep elbows, yet leave virtually no marks on this technology. The online video library may be viewed for free without any registration requirements and periodic additions are planned.
