The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its April 2015 booked orders increased 6.8% when compared to April 2014 orders.

When compared to March 2015, however, April 2015 booked orders were down 18.4%.

April booked orders were down 11.4% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 21.9% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to March.

CEMA’s April 2015 billed sales (shipments) increased by 9.1% when compared to April 2014 sales. When compared to March 2015, April 2015 billed sales were up 0.3%.
 
April Billed Sales were down 4.4% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 2.8% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to March.
