The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its July 2015 booked orders increased 23.9% when compared to July 2014 orders. When compared to June 2015 booked orders July 2015 booked orders were up 5%.
July booked orders were down 6.4% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 11.9% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to June.
CEMA’s July 2015 billed sales (shipments) increased by 5% when compared to July 2014 sales.
When compared to June 2015 billed sales, July 2015 billed sales were up 4.9%.
July billed sales were down 7.3% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 10.6% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to June.
