Conveying Equipment Orders up 84%

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its September 2019 booked orders increased 84.7% when compared to September 2018 orders.

When compared to August 2019, September 2019 booked orders were up 68.7%.

September booked orders were down 8.9% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 93.9% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to August.

CEMA’s September 2019 billed sales (shipments) increased by 9% when compared to September 2018 sales.

When compared to August billed sales, September 2019 billed sales were up 1.5%.

September billed sales were down 4.2% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 3.4% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to August.
