The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its November 2013 booked orders decreased 13.8% when compared to November 2012 orders. When compared to October 2013, booked orders were down 22.6%.
November booked orders were down 5.2% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 30.3% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to October.
CEMA’s November 2013 billed sales (shipments) decreased by 8.2% when compared to November 2012 sales, and 15.1% when compared to October 2013 billed sales.
November billed sales were down 16.9% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 14.2% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to October.
