CEMA June Booked Orders up 35% over 2011

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its June 2012 booked orders increased 35.4% when compared to June 2011 orders.

When compared to May 2012, June 2012 booked orders were up 3.8%.

June booked orders were down 6.0% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 13.1% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to May.

CEMA’s June 2012 billed sales (shipments) increased by 26.3% when compared to June 2011 sales.

When compared to May 2012, June 2012 billed sales were up 11.3%

June billed sales were up 4.6% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 18.2% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to May.
