Ajax Equipment Expands Carbon Black Production

Ajax Equipment has supplied leading black masterbatch producer, Hubron International, with a horizontal screw conveyor for handling fines as part of its new plant.

Hubron’s Manchester facility uses a range of Ajax solids handling equipment including screw feeders, hoppers, and four FIBC big bag dischargers.

Ajax screw conveyors for handling powders and bulk solids are individually designed such that each conveyor suits each individual application.

Ajax conveyors can be manufactured in a range of materials including carbon steel, stainless steels and other high alloy steels. Wear parts such as the flights and the casings can be produced from abrasion-resistant steels or hard coated by various methods.
