Mark Taylor joins Yargus Manufacturing Inc. as vice president of industrial sales. Taylor is leading the Industrial Sales Div. at Yargus, which produces the Layco line of material handling equipment.

After graduating from Butler University, Taylor began a 12-year career in the pulp and paper industry, selling paper machine clothing to mills throughout North America. Before joining Yargus, Taylor owned and operated DMS Environmental for 15 years, developing and engineering fuel used in the cement and lime industry.

“I am very excited to join a world class supplier of quality material handling products and to be part of a team that is focused on growing its presence in the industrial market place,” said Taylor. “I am confident that our quality products and ability to provide value-added solutions will enable us to develop relationships in the industrial marketplace that are long lasting.”

“Yargus is pleased to have Mark Taylor join our team,” said company president Larry Yargus. “His extensive experience in the recycling and plastic industry will enable the Layco line to expand into the domestic and international industrial marketplace.”

Yargus Manufacturing provides the domestic and international fertilizer industry with innovative blending and conveying equipment from its seven-acre complex in Marshall, IL. Since it was established in 1968, the company has expanded its Layco line to include such products as the versatile volumetric blender, declining weight blender, and tower blend system. At the same time, it has developed an expertise for turn-key projects, supplying all the in-loading, in-plant, blending, and out-loading equipment, custom designed for each application.
