Vortex announces a 10-year warranty on its loading spout lifting cables for its standard and high-volume loading spout systems.

Vortex's loading spouts load bulk materials into open and/or enclosed vessels with a four-cable lifting design that provides maximum stability, compared to the standard two- or three-cable systems. The in-line drive system also incorporates three-piece CNC-machined pulleys that feature chamfered edges and precision cable grooves to reduce cable wear and back lashing as the loading spout extends and retracts, especially during the misalignment of the hatch opening. Because the cables do not fray, cable failure is nearly eliminated, as is costly downtime for repairs.

The warranty covers any Vortex loading spout cable that breaks due to friction from the pulley system. Vortex will replace the cables if they are defective due to wear or irritation caused by the CNC machined pulleys.
