Since its creation in 1978, Standard Industrie International has designed equipment that facilitates the storage, flow, conveying, and cleaning of powdery bulk products.

Hervé Simoëns, founder, came up with the idea that compacted powder can only empty from the silo with a large influx of air. He filed a patent and offered his solution to cement manufacturers with whom he achieved great success in France and internationally. He gradually led his company to be recognized as a specialist in the bulk handling market globally.

Since 1985, subsidiaries have been established in Europe, but also in South Africa, China, Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. A network of export sales representatives looks after the eastern European countries, the Maghreb, the Middle East, Central Africa, and Asia.
