Shick USA Names CFO
Blake Day is Shick USA's new chief financial officer

Shick USA, a Kansas City ingredient automation company, hired Blake Day as its new chief financial officer.

“We are pleased to have Blake join our team,” said Tim Cook, president. “Blake brings a great deal of financial experience and expertise to Shick and will be instrumental in helping us achieve our growth plans.”

Day has more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience, most recently working for Marlen International Inc. as vice president and CFO. At Marlen, he managed all accounting, human resources, and information technology departments, and was a part of the senior executive team that led the company’s sales strategy, new product development, operations, and banking relationships.

“I am truly excited to have the opportunity to work with another great Kansas City company and organization,” Day said. “The Shick team is very committed to providing best-in-class products and solutions to our customers, and I look forward to the future.”  

Day was graduated from William Jewell College with a bachelor’s of science in accounting, and is a certified public accountant. He has spent his entire professional career in the Kansas City area.
