Paul Lewis Named President and COO at Hoover Container Solutions

The board of directors of the Hoover Group Inc. announced that Paul Lewis has joined Hoover Container Solutions Inc. as president and chief operating officer. Donald W. Young remains chairman and chief executive officer of Hoover Group Inc. and its subsidiaries.

“On behalf of the board of directors of Hoover I am excited to introduce Mr. Lewis to our customers and welcome him to the Hoover team. We knew that we were looking for a strong leader who had a deep understanding of our industry and appreciated Hoover’s customer-first culture. We are confident that the addition of Paul will allow Hoover to continue to build on its many strengths and further development quality products and services to best serve our customers,” said Young.

With more than 25 years of experience in various industries, Lewis most recently served as division vice president of PSC’s Environmental Services Division where he managed more than 1100 employees and $260 million in revenue. Prior to running PSC’s Environmental Services Division, Lewis was the division vice president of PSC’s Container Services Division. While with that division, he and his team were instrumental in developing new IBC, ISO, and food-grade markets, streamlined processes, implemented all new information systems, and strengthened the division’s physical footprint by opening new locations.  Lewis joined PCS in 2001 and during his 10 years with PSC, held a wide array of senior leadership positions. Prior to PSC, Lewis spent 20 years working for UK-based global engineering and manufacturing service companies.
