Columbia Machine introduces the FLD2500-SW, a floor level infeed conventional palletizer equipped with a fully integrated stretch wrapper.

This model represents a significant advancement in the company's lineup of highly flexible and compact palletizing solutions. The turntable-style stretch wrapper allows for concurrent “stack and wrap” load building, achieving rates previously unattainable.

Featuring a dual hoist design combined with an electric overhead row pusher, the FLD2500-SW reduces its footprint by 40% compared to other floor-level palletizers with similar throughput capacities. The incorporation of servo technology enables numerically controlled movement and positioning for both hoists, resulting in faster and more accurate machine operations. This enhances overall throughput and simplifies setup and programming. The FLD2500-SW is versatile, capable of palletizing and stretch wrapping a variety of package types, including unwrapped trays, high center of gravity (CG) cases, and film-only bundles.

Additional options include Smart Diagnostics with video playback for maintenance assistance, a servo-actuated touchless turning infeed for gentle package handling, display-ready case orienting, and various dispensers for slip sheets and tier sheets.
