Key Technology Appoints Marco Azzaretti Optical Product Manager

Key Technology has appointed Marco Azzaretti to the position of optical product manager. Azzaretti is responsible for managing activities that support the development and sales of Key’s laser/camera sorting systems including Manta, Tegra, Optyx, and Veo, which identify and remove defects and foreign material to improve product quality and food safety.

“We are very pleased to have Marco managing our optical line of products. He is collaborating with various departments within Key to ensure we pursue a coordinated approach to satisfying customers’ needs worldwide and developing new market opportunities,” said Steve Johnson, director of marketing at Key Technology. “With his strong background in strategic product management and the food processing industry, Marco is ideally qualified to take the lead in managing this important family of products.”

Azzaretti brings 15 years of leadership experience in product management with suppliers of food processing technology and other automation equipment. Most recently, he was product marketing manager at BHS North America. Prior to that, he was director, product management at Gerber Scientific and product marketing manager at JBT Corp. Azzaretti holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Xavier University and earned his MBA from Northwestern University.
