Intelligrated Names Puisis CFO, Promotes Sharp to EVP

Intelligrated, a leading American-owned automated material handling solution provider, has announced two new appointments to its leadership team. Edward Puisis joins the company as chief financial officer and executive vice president, and Jim Sharp is promoted to executive vice president.

Puisis and Sharp will report directly to Chris Cole, CEO, joining Jim McCarthy, president and COO, and Steve Ackerman, executive vice president, on the executive committee. Directly reporting to Puisis will be Mark Tefend, general counsel and vice president, legal & human resources, Bryan Jones, vice president and corporate controller, and Steve Crone, chief information officer.

“We see these appointments as a strategic step toward positioning Intelligrated as the leader in the industry,” said Cole. “A commitment to investing in our leadership allows us to build a strong foundation for the long-term growth of the company, with a goal of supporting our customer relationships through communication and innovation.”

As CFO and EVP, Puisis’ responsibilities include oversight of Intelligrated’s finance, human resources, information technology, and procurement departments. He will maximize current relationships with commercial and investment banking and capital markets. With more than 24 years of experience at both corporate and small entrepreneurial businesses, Puisis most recently managed financial operations for Dayton Superior Corp. He joins Intelligrated with a B.S. degree from Lewis University and an MBA from DePaul University.

Sharp will oversee the implementation of the synergy plan developed following Intelligrated's acquisition of FKI Logistex in June 2009. Sharp will direct the progress, budgets, and implementation associated with the company’s integration efforts. Since 2002, Sharp served as vice president, finance, and CFO of Intelligrated and previously held various accounting and financial positions at the executive level with material handling solutions providers Pinnacle Automation and Alvey.
