IMPAK’s protective drum liners are manufactured from high-barrier foil Mylar laminate and have a flat, round bottom that allows them to conform to the interior of drums and pails. Polyethylene drum liners have long been used to protect drums and make processing more convenient, but they do little to protect the product itself. These Mylar-foil inserts are specifically made to increase shelf life, while protecting contents from water, moisture, vapor, light, and oxygen. With available sizes ranging from 1-55 gal, these drum liners serve a wide range of applications from long-term food storage, to storing and shipping bulk quantities of resins, compounds, excipients, pharmaceutical ingredients, moisture sensitive powders, and more. The inner layer is an FDA-compliant food-safe material, and the bags may be heat sealed with an oxygen absorber or desiccant inside for a complete “sorbent system.”
