Buckhorn Names Rastetter Director of Sales

Buckhorn, a Myers Industries Inc. company, has appointed Jim Rastetter to the position of director of sales. Headquartered in Milford, OH, Buckhorn is one of North America’s leading providers of reusable plastic packaging systems and solutions, helping customers in the manufacturing, distribution, and food industries improve supply chain performance and reduce material handling costs.

In his new role, Rastetter will oversee the sales account activity for Buckhorn’s customer base and manage the company’s team of regional sales managers. Prior to joining Buckhorn, Rastetter spent 20 years with another Myers Industries Inc. company, Akro-Mils, where he held several positions, including marketing director, industrial sales manager, director of sales & marketing, and most recently, director of operations. Prior to joining Akro-Mils, Rastetter served as vice president of sales & marketing for Swing-N-Slide Corp. and vice president of sales for the Wolfcraft Corp.

Rastetter holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of Wooster and a master’s degree in business administration from Illinois Benedictine College (now Benedictine University). He also completed the Kellogg School of Management’s Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University.
