Benko Products Inc., a leading innovator in material handling and safety products, is celebrating its 30-year anniversary this October.

For 30 years, Benko Products has invented, designed, and manufactured industrial drum warming ovens, tank truck and railcar access and fall protection equipment, mezzanine safety gates, hazmat storage buildings, and a variety of other industrial products. Benko Products has made the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America seven times, including this year.

Benko Products is the result of one man’s vision: A vision to provide the highest engineered products at affordable prices. John Benko started the company in 1983 with two ideas that would revolutionize an industry. The first was an elevating tank truck platform that would ultimately become the G-RAFF elevating tank truck platform, and the second was the Sahara Hot Box, an energy-saving drum-warming oven designed to heat from one to thirty-two 55-gal drums. Benko Products specializes in Drum Heaters and Drum Ovens.

Continuing Benko’s leadership in the access and fall protection market, John Benko purchased fellow innovator GREEN Access & Fall Protection Systems in 2004. GREEN created the original gangways for tank trucks and tank cars dating back to the 1950s, and has thousands of gangways installed around the world. GREEN also offers self-leveling stairs and sells the G-RAFF line of elevating equipment.

Benko Products recently introduced the Erg-O-Cart, an ergonomic beverage cart that eliminates common and costly back injuries associated with bulk beverage transportation. Benko’s diverse product line also includes hazardous material storage solutions, mezzanine safety gates, and drum-handling equipment.
