Pet care products maker Cosmos Manufacturing is investing $25.7 million to open a new facility in O’Fallon, MO that will house its headquarters, manufacturing assets, and distribution operations, the Missouri Department of Economic Development announced in a March 21 press release.

The St. Louis area company produces more than 150 pet products for grooming, dental care, and flea and tick control, which are sold under the TropiClean and Naturel Promise brands across 65 countries.

“We are very excited to continue our growth here in Missouri at our new O’Fallon headquarters,” the company’s chief executive officer, Landon Hobson, said in a statement. “We appreciate the excellent business climate and workforce that the state and St. Louis area has to offer and look forward to bringing even more jobs to the region.”

Cosmos outgrew its existing facility in Wentzville, MO in recent years as because of increased sales and growth, the state agency’s release said. The recently-announced expansion project adds space to accommodate future growth and will create 60 new full-time jobs.

Work on the O’Fallon facility is slated for completion in early 2020.
