Nestlé to Invest $150M in Frozen Food Plant Expansion
Nestlé will add a new production line for single-serve frozen meals and enhanced automation and digital technology.

Nestlé announced the planned expansion of its frozen foods facility in Gaffney, SC, with an investment of $150 million.
The Gaffney plant produces familiar frozen foods entrees such as Stouffer's and Lean Cuisine.
The investment will include a new production line as well as enhanced automation and digital technology, according to the South Carolina Governor's website.
“This investment further solidifies our dedication to the Gaffney community, where Nestlé has been an integral part for nearly 45 years. It also reflects our continued commitment to enhance our US manufacturing footprint and in-house capabilities. These enhancements will enable us to meet the consumer demand for the beloved brands in our frozen meals portfolio,” said Nicole Caldwell, Nestlé USA Gaffney factory manager.
Nestlé USA operates 112 offices and facilities in 28 states. It opened the Gaffney facility in 1980.
