Camfil, a global leader in clean air solutions, has launched a new Airborne Molecular Contamination (AMC) air filter regeneration service center in the Machouhou Industrial Park, Chiayi, Taiwan. The inauguration ceremony took place on September 10, 2024.

Spanning 10,000 square meters, the state-of-the-art facility is specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of the semiconductor industry, utilizing advanced processes and equipment to uphold Camfil's commitment to environmental sustainability. The center is expected to create 300 jobs, significantly boosting the local economy.

Prominent attendees at the ceremony included Chiayi County Mayor Weng Chang-Liang, legislator Wang Yu-Min, alongside Camfil's CEO Mark Simmons, Chairman Alan O’Connell, EVP of Supply Chain Stefan Larsson, and Deputy EVP of Supply Chain Dan Larson.

During the event, Simmons emphasized Camfil's leadership in the semiconductor industry, saying, "We chose Chiayi for its strategic advantages, the proximity to our major semiconductor customers allows us to collaborate more effectively and closely."

Camfil leads the way in the circular economy, offering energy-saving and carbon reduction solutions in air filtration. By making filter materials recyclable and reusable, Camfil provides an alternative to disposable AMC chemical air filters. The company’s ESG goals focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and resource preservation to minimize operational waste. Camfil regularly publishes Sustainability Reports to highlight its commitment to ESG principles and the circular economy.

The new facility in Chiayi sets a benchmark in the AMC filter industry, positioning Camfil at the forefront of delivering sustainable air filtration solutions for the future.
