Aplus Finetek Sensor Inc. announces the availability of the SC35 series tuning fork point level sensor. The SC35 features state-of-the-art piezoelectric crystal and electronic technology with self-diagnostics and a test button, and can detect material density as low as 0.624 lb/cu ft.

The SC35 series is widely used in powder and bulk solids applications in several industries/applications, including food & beverage, pharmaceutical, feed mills, plastic, rubber, chemical, cement, steel, etc., to detect the minimum and maximum material level over a wide range of different material densities and state in tanks, silos, and hoppers. It can also support the function of detecting underwater sediments.

Other features of the SC35 series include self-diagnostics to detect tuning fork abrasion, a small compact housing IP66/IP67 rated, wide voltage range 20~250VAC/VDC, 50/60Hz, SPDT relay or SSR MOSFET output, and switch delay function. It is available in standard length, extension probe, and cable extended in various probe materials and process connections.  High temperature version up to 280°C and explosion proof models are also available.
