L&J Technologies’ Delavan Sonac 220 and Microwave 320 point level switches measure material with constantly changing physical properties without damaging or altering products.
The Sonac 220 is used for material that constantly changes physical properties such as light low bulk density materials, stringy fibrous, or delicate materials. The material’s specific physical or electrical characteristics don’t affect sensing making it ideal for shredded plastic, newspaper, tobacco, rubber, and puff cereals in applications such as balers, to prevent boiler feeder starvation, plugged chutes, and position detectors.
The Microwave 320 is used for environments to hostile to permit reliable operation of photo-electric controls such as high temps, abrasive materials, and corrosive solid products. It’s unaffected by dust, smoke, fog, or vibration, and is ideal for molten metals, slurries, and pulp.
