Ohmart/VEGA Corp. has changed its name to VEGA Americas Inc. This change recognizes the relationship between the company and its parent, VEGA Grieshaber KG of Schiltach, Germany. The VEGA name is also shared with 12 other VEGA subsidiaries throughout the world.
Founded in 1950 as The Ohmart Corp., the company is an industry leader in measurement instrumentation. Its growth and rapidly expanding presence in the global marketplace, as well as the addition of various product lines, necessitate the need for a name change which reflects all the company products as a cohesive brand.
