Horiba Donates Analyzer to Penn State for Ground-Breaking Research

HORIBA Instruments Inc. has renewed its alliance with the Center for Innovative Sintered Products (CISP) at Penn State University through the donation of its Partica LA-950V2 analyzer.

For many years, CISP used the HORIBA LA-920 for studies involving ceramics, stainless steel alloys, and tungsten powders. Now the center will have the use of the most advanced laser diffraction particle-size analyzer, the HORIBA LA-950, to use for groundbreaking research and development. The upgraded donation was made to the university in March of this year.

The HORIBA Scientific group provides state of the art microanalysis, nanotechnology, and spectroscopy tools to industry and academia to assist in the next generation of new discoveries.
