Hazardous Location Certificates for New Point Level Products

Bindicator announces that Hazardous Location certificates from UL have been issued to the company’s recently launched, redesigned Bin-Dicator and VRF II point level sensors. The UL certification is recognized in both the U.S. and Canada for explosion-proof Class I, Div 1, Groups C and D, and dust-ignition-proof Class II, Div 1, Groups E, F, and G.

The Roto-Bin-Dicator paddle wheel switch and the VRF II capacitance switch were recently upgraded by Bindicator to modify the housings and bin connections, as well as to increase electronic functionality, providing higher sensitivity, universal power supply, and simpler calibration methods. Hazardous Location certification will allow these new point level products to be used in dry bulk environments requiring explosion-proof and dust-ignition-proof equipment, such as applications in grain silos, fly ash hoppers, and chemical bins.
