Brookfield Engineering Laboratories has announced the appointment of Thomas Babington to the position of senior product development engineer. Babington is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts/Dartmouth with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Babington brings more than 25 years of industry experience in product development serving a variety of industries. He has worked on everything from toys and power tools to automotive sensors.
Since coming on board, Babington’s focus has been keeping Brookfield on the front edge of new technologies while incorporating his existing knowledge and experience into Brookfield products. He has also been developing ways to streamline manufacturing processes, reducing lead times, and improving product consistency.
