Kemutec Appoints Global Head of Sales Amid International Expansion
Rob Dallow, head of global sales & business development, Kemutec Group Inc.

Kemutec Group Inc. announces the appointment of Rob Dallow as head of global sales & business development, forming a key part of its global strategy to expand into new international markets.

Dallow, formerly CEO of the Kemutec Group USA, will begin in the newly created role this month and will be based in the UK. He will be succeeded in the U.S. by Karin Galloway, former sales manager of the Kemutec Group USA.

The Kemutec brand is a subsidiary of heritage manufacturing company Process Components Ltd in the UK and has designed and supplied high-end powder processing equipment and components for the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries for over three decades. It specializes in sieving, crushing, milling, and mixing equipment and systems.

Dallow has over 30 years experience working for Kemutec, having begun his career there in 1985. In his new role, he will oversee the brand’s international sales strategy, while continuing to service existing accounts and bolstering Kemutec’s presence in the UK, mainland Europe, and the U.S. Existing clients include GlaxoSmithKline, Pedigree Petfoods, Mars, and Nestle, along with many other major brands in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.

Dallow’ appointment follows the opening of a new office in the Netherlands, with further sites set to open soon in other territories. In addition to its current UK, European, and U.S. bases, Kemutec has a network of highly experienced representatives based around the world.

Speaking about his new role, Dallow said, “This is an exciting time for Kemutec as we begin to develop our presence in new, international markets and grow our existing client base. My new role reflects both our global strategy, and the fact that many of our largest, longstanding clients are multi-national organizations. In the U.S., Kemutec has a great reputation for delivery, quality, customer support, and process knowledge, and I look forward to replicating that elsewhere, as well as building on the relationships with our existing customers.

Rob’s successor, Karin Galloway, has an engineering background and began working with Kemutec in 2012 as a machine sales engineer, and more recently as U.S. sales manager. She has extensive knowledge of the powder processing market throughout the U.S., having worked in many major cities, including New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago. Initially, Galloway’s focus will be on exploring new sales avenues and continuing to build the Kemutec team in the U.S.

“Karin has worked alongside me in the U.S. for years,” said Dallow. “She has considerable market experience, is incredibly driven, and already has strong relationships with our existing clients so there will be no interruption in service. I have no doubt she will continue to grow the US arm of the Kemutec brand further still.”

“I’m excited to be heading up the U.S. team and continuing to build on the strong foundations that Rob has created here,” said Galloway, the newly appointed CEO of Kemutec Group USA. “As a brand, Kemutec is held in very high regard in the U.S. However, I believe the opportunities for Kemutec here are greater than what we have already tapped into, and I look forward to exploring those as part of our strategy for growth. In addition to the areas we already have considerable presence in, I would like to focus on other states in the U.S. that are hotbeds for this industry. I also look forward to further developing our relationships with existing customers, who I have worked alongside for many years.”

Kemutec Group USA is based in Bristol, PA. Dallow will be based at the Process Components UK headquarters in Poynton, Cheshire. Process Components is made up of a group of heritage brands that incorporates Kemutec, Kek, Gardner, Mucon, and PPS.
