Hallam-ICS Webinar Offers Review of Sample DHA Report
May 6, 2020
Engineering firm Hallam-ICS is offering a free, 30-minute webinar, “Review of a Sample Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA) Report” on May 14 to provide facility owners and operators with an idea of what to expect in a DHA Report.
Many in need of a DHA wonder what they are going to get for their investment. DHAs can cost tens of thousands of dollars for larger facilities, and all the client will have to show for it is a report. It is only natural to wonder what will be included and how much value is included in that information.
It is difficult at best to find examples of DHA reports online. Many consultants will share redacted reports with potential clients only by request. Inspired by ‘popular demand’, Hallam-ICS has generated a DHA Report for a fictitious facility drawing on examples from real DHAs and will make the sample report available for download on their website during and after the webinar.
During this webinar, Chris Giusto, PE, Director of Industrial Projects and Combustible Dust Safety at Hallam-ICS, will review this sample DHA Report to give attendees a better understanding of what they can expect to receive.
“A Dust Hazard Analysis is a critical first step in making a facility with combustible dust as safe as possible. The DHA Report is the tangible result of that analysis, and a baseline for future management of change. It is the foundation of a comprehensive combustible dust safety strategy,” said Giusto.
Hallam-ICS’ webinar will offer participants:
- An overview of what information is included in a DHA Report
- Examples of sections and content of the report
- An overview of the DHA Summary Table
- An overview of the Risk Evaluation
This free 30-minute webinar is timely information for you to meet the approaching NFPA 652 deadline of Sept. 7, 2020 that requires owners to conduct a DHA for existing facilities and processes.
