CST Industries Inc., the world’s largest bolted tank, dome and specialty cover manufacturer, today announced its increased investment in the company’s Service Department for customers throughout North America. The company has demonstrated its investments over the past year through a significantly increased service portfolio, parts inventory, customer focused educational training, and expanded team of experts.

“With more tank and dome installations installed and operating throughout the world than any other manufacturer, nobody better understands the diverse needs of our customers in both dry bulk and liquid storage applications,” said Tim Carpenter, CEO of CST. “As we continue our growth, we remain focused on further equipping customers with easy access to CST’s team of expert service representatives delivering timely maintenance, inspections, parts, repairs, upgrades, equipment installations, refurbishments and other specialized services.”

“Having the right solution at the right time is critical to minimizing downtime for our customers,” stated Tom DeDonder, VP of Construction and Services at CST. “With an established MSA program, we are able to develop custom asset management programs by evaluating customers assets, prioritize the need of preventative care and providing detailed pricing to help customers plan for budgetary expenses to support their maintenance needs. With our years of experience, we know that with proper preventative care, customers can save tens of thousands of dollars and get up to 50% more life out of their assets. Customers can rely on CST to keep their production flowing smoothly and cost effectively.”

With more than 350,000 tanks and 19,000 covers worldwide operating around the world, CST expects to further grow its Services business exponentially in 2020 and beyond.

“Nobody is better positioned to support our customers than the experts who built the storage tank or cover,” DeDonder said. “Because of our investment in expanding factory-direct support in resources, parts and capabilities, our customers can trust that CST is committed to ensuring an outstanding ownership experience for each and every customer.”
