Production at the Manildra flour mill in Manildra, New South Wales, Australia was halted for a day after an explosion on Saturday injured a worker and caused damages to the facility.

A video posted by a truck driver passing by the scene immediately after the explosion showed extensive damages to the flour mill. “It [the blast] blew the top out of the building and the side,” the man said in the footage.

A statement posted to the Facebook page of the mill’s owner, Manildra Group, said the event impacted “one section of the plant.”

“Our primary concern is the safety of our employees and the local community. All employees were immediately evacuated from the site and are accounted for. One employee obtained a minor injury and was treated at the scene,” the company said.

About 40 workers were at the facility during the blast, according to a report by Central Western Daily. Canobolas Zone Rural Fire Service duty officer Lachlan Allan told the newspaper that a person was injured by debris.

Operations at the facility resumed on Monday. Manildra said its supply of bakery and flour products was not interrupted by the incident.

The cause of the incident remains unclear.
