A feed mill and a warehouse were destroyed in an early morning fire last Saturday at the Westgate Elevator in Westgate, IA, several local news organizations reported.

Crews responded to the site at about 1:20 a.m., and arrived at the scene to find the warehouse and feed mill completely involved in the fire, coverage by the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier said. Some 35,000 gal of water was used over six hours to control the flames. 

The feed mill and the warehouse were declared a total loss during the incident, the Oelwein Daily Register said in an article.
