Firefighters responded to the ABC Coke plant in Tarrant, AL last Thursday after a flash fire left three workers with injuries, according to coverage by AL.com.

The blaze occurred at about 8 am and crews arrived on scene at 8:12 am, Tarrant Fire Chief Jason Rickels told the news website. The workers were transported to an area hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening burns on their heads, necks, and chests.

ABC Coke, a division of Drummond Company Inc., is the biggest merchant producer of foundry coke in the US, according to the company’s website, supplying a range of industries, including sugar, automotive, rockwool insulation, and smelter.
