Fire Damages W.R. Grace Warehouse in Tennessee

A blaze broke out Friday morning at a W.R. Grace & Company warehouse in Chattanooga, TN that left the facility’s roof with damages, according to the Chattanooga Fire Department. 

Firefighters were called to the site after workers found cardboard, plastic packaging, and wood pallets on fire. The flames extended to the roof, but crews managed to swiftly douse the blaze, the fire department said in a post to its Facebook page. 

W.R. Grace is a manufacturer of specialty chemicals and materials used in a range of industries, including food and beverage, chemical processing, and nutraceutical. Officials said no chemicals were involved in the warehouse fire. 

No injuries were logged during the incident. The cause of the incident is unknown.
