An explosion at a grain mill in Ixonia, WI early Tuesday morning left one worker injured, several news outlets reported.

“Word among fire fighters was that the incident may have had its origins in a dust explosion at the grain facility,” reported the Watertown [WI] Daily Times.

Several area fire departments responded to a call of an explosion at the Insight FS co-op grain mill on Marietta Ave. in Ixonia at about 7:20 a.m., the Daily Times said.

Firefighters arrived to no flames, but found an employee who suffered from non-life-threatening scrapes, burns and bruises, according to a LakeCountryNow.com article. The man was transported to a local hospital.

Officials told local news that the cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
