A dust collector fire on May 3 caused damages to the roof of the International Paper plant in North Strabane, PA, according to coverage by the Washington Observer-Reporter.

Fire crews from several municipalities responded to the site at about 7 p.m., working for about two hours to put the flames down.

After the dust collection system ignited, fire moved onto the plant’s roof, causing some damages as portions melted, North Strabane Fire Department Capt. Glenn Eger told the Observer-Reporter.

The article did not mention whether or not injuries were reported. No recent records of safety violations were found in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) database of inspections.
