Crews responded to the Iowa Spring Manufacturing spring production plant in Adel, IA on Thursday after a blaze ignited, several local news organizations reported.

Called to the facility about 12:15 a.m., firefighters found fire and smoke coming from a dust collector at the plant and managed to douse the flames in 15 minutes, Raccoon Valley Radio reported.

Workers evacuated the facility during the incident and no injuries were reported, according to coverage by The Perry News. Officials told the newspaper that the fire likely started in the dust collection system.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation by Adel Fire, Raccoon Valley Radio said.

Iowa Spring Manufacturing engineers, designs, and manufactures springs for agricultural and mechanical equipment and the overhead garage door industry, according to the firm’s website. The company was founded in 1977.
