Firefighters responded to a dryer fire at the Frito-Lay plant in Jonesboro, AR early Monday morning, several local news organizations reported.

Fire crews responded to the facility at about 3 a.m. Flames in the equipment were extinguished before first responders arrived at the scene, Jonesboro Fire Department Assistant Chief Alan Dunn told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

The blaze in the machine, located in the rear of the building, spread smoke inside the plant, according to a report by local news broadcaster KAIT.

Operations resumed at the plant following the incident and no damages were logged, Dunn said in the Democrat-Gazette

In September 2015, PepsiCo-owned Frito-Lay announced it was investing $45.7 million in an expansion project at the Jonesboro plant. The company added 80,000 sq ft to the site’s footprint and installed new distribution equipment.
