The blaze on Saturday evening caused significant damages to the Wisconsin farm.

Crews were called to the Metcafe Brothers Farm in Janesville, WI last Saturday after a blaze ignited in a piece of corn drying equipment, several local news organizations reported.

28 firefighters from five area fire departments responded to the incident along with law enforcement personnel, coverage by Channel3000.com said.

After being called to the site around 6:30 p.m., crews arrived at the scene and worked to douse the flames and remove material from the machine, an account by television news station WKOW said.

The fire caused an estimated $400,000 in damage to the property and $20,000 in damage to corn, a NBC News affiliate in Madison, WI said.

No injuries were logged during the incident.
