An accumulation of rice oil caused a fire to ignite in a cereal bin at the Kellogg’s cereal plant in Battle Creek, MI on Tuesday morning, several local news organizations reported.

Crews from the Battle Creek Fire Department were called to the facility after the blaze started at about 9:30 a.m. The flames were contained to a hopper and a transfer pipe inside the structure, coverage by MLive.com said. Officials told the news website that the fire was swiftly put out.

The fire is thought to have been caused by a buildup of rice oil within the bin, news radio station WBCK said. No injuries were logged in the incident.
