Firefighters worked for two hours on Monday afternoon to douse a fire that ignited in the Reckitt & Benckiser manufacturing plant.

A four-alarm fire broke out at Reckitt & Benckiser (RB) manufacturing plant in Hillsborough, NJ on Monday, drawing a response from more than 15 area emergency response agencies, local news organizations reported.

The structure fire was initially reported at about 1:40 pm. All workers evacuated the facility safely shortly after the fire began, RB officials told NJ.com. Police said two firefighters received treatment for heat exhaustion.

Online news service TapintoHillsborough said hundreds of firefighters worked for about two hours to extinguish the flames.

RB’s plant in Hillsborough reportedly produces health and hygiene products, including Lysol brand disinfectant. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
