2 Hurt After Explosion at Processing Plant

Emergency personnel responded to an explosion at a processing plant in Vaughn, ON on Tuesday afternoon, several local news organizations reported. Two people were injured during the incident. 

Officials told CityNews that evidence of a tar and diesel leak was observed at the scene. Two people received treatment at the plant for minor injuries.

An investigation into the explosion has been opened by the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Labour, according to coverage by 680News. 

Reports did not provide details on the company that operates the facility.
