Vibra Screw offers loss-in-weight (LIW) feeders that provide accuracies to ± 1/4% to 1/2%, weighing ounces to tons and feeding materials from fine powders to fibrous or flaky materials. Control of batch size and feed time is provided through a microprocessor-based controller that eliminates the effects of plant vibration and electrical noise, and the need for vibration-dampening devices. The controllers incorporate user-friendly, menu-driven software with membrane keypads and easy-to-read displays. Vibra Screw offer a controlled vibration feeder design for weigh feeding, which results in minimal loss of accuracy during the volumetric refill cycle and high accuracy in the gravimetric mode.
