THC-free Cannabis products manufacturer Paragon Processing announced the opening of a 250,000-sq-ft industrial hemp processing facility in Colorado City, CO on Wednesday. According to the company, the plant is the largest of its kind in operation in the U.S.

Using Superior Flow brand processing equipment, the company said it is working to increase the site’s initial processing capacity of 1 million lb/month of hemp biomass to about 2 million lb/month for the 2019 harvest season. Paragon Processing’s plant is capable of storing up to 50 million tons of hemp biomass and features 13 dock-high loading positions.

“We’re pleased to offer an array of turnkey services, including extraction, distillation, isolation, THC-free processing, sales, storage and third-party laboratory testing,” said Paragon Processing Co-President Matt Evans in a company press release. “It is important to our mission to provide a one-stop-shop partnership for clients, whether they are farmers seeking assistance, new companies testing an idea or an established business seeking to strengthen its production practices and/or product lines.”

The facility will be capable of producing a wide range of goods, including CBD distillate, THC-free distillate, CBD isolate, CBG, CBN and CBD-infused products using Superior Flow brand processing equipment, cryo-ethanol extraction and three-stage molecular distillation.

Products produced at the Colorado City site will be transported to the firm’s 45,000-sq-ft white-label distribution center in Colorado Springs.
