Worker Dies in Food Processing Accident

A worker died Thursday after what the Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office is calling a "work-related accident" at the Pearl Valley Eggs food processing plant in Pearl City, IL.
The sheriff’s department received a report of an accident at the plant just after 2:30 Thursday afternoon. When Pearl City Fire and Ambulance arrived at the scene, the worker had died.
An investigation was underway.
